FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) 1. Is now a good time to buy a new home? With interest rates at an all time low, new home cost at an all time low, and more and more incentives being introduced for first time homebuyers it's a great time to buy! Buying a new home not only means you won't have to worry about failing equipment and endless weekend projects, it means a new home warranty, and energy efficiency which means lower monthly bills as well! 2. What are price ranges of your homes? Our pricing starts in the $159,000 and goes up to over $400,000 depending on the type of home you are interested in. 3. How much can I afford to spend? StyleCraft Homes works with a lender to make sure the home buying process is smooth and you will know exactly how much home you can afford. The best thing to do is set an appointment with our New Home Sales Representatives and Approved Lender and we'll work together with you to make the dream of homeownership a reality. 4. How many different types of houses do you offer? StyleCraft Homes offers everything from townhomes to starter homes to estate homes. How long does it take to build a house? From the time you sign a contract to move in, it takes approximately 5 months to build your house. During the process you will meet with the project manager several times to review the construction and quality of your new home. 7. Aren't all builders the same? No. It is important to educate yourself before you consider buying, especially a new home. 8. What kinds of things separate builders? First, a home is an investment and while price is important, you need to consider what your house and your community will look like years from now. What does the community look like? Does it have sod and irrigation in the front yard? Are people taking care of their homes? These are all questions to consider if you are going to make such a large investment. 9. What about the home itself? Ask to see the standard specification, what comes standard with the home and what has to be purchased? Important things like engineered floors, paint quality, and other building materials will impact the home in the coming years, know what you are getting! 10. Do new homes come with a warranty? All new StyleCraft Homes come with a builder's warranty. You will have access for the first year to our service and warranty department and a ten year structural warranty after that. Many builders offer a warranty but don't have someone dedicated to taking care of you after your house closes.
